USB Stuck in a Port? 5 Ways to Remove It Without Damage
If you got your USB stuck in port, then this article is for you.
Why does the USB stick in port?
There are several reasons why this can happen.- The first reason is that the USB stick was forcefully inserted into the port, bent the pins inside, and got stuck. Sometimes the pin is not broken, but it got bent at an odd angle, making the USB get stuck in the port easily when you try to remove it.
- Another reason is that the USB stick, especially when it's a cheap one, can't handle repeated insertion and removal and can get damaged easily. When it does, this problem may occur, and the USB stick is stuck in port or even broken in the port and got stuck.
- Dirt and debris are other reasons. Some debris, especially the small kind, will get caught in between the pin and port, which can prevent the USB from being removed or inserted.
